DAY 29 #PHOTOGRAPHERCHALLENGE

Day 29 follows on from Day 19 on my first trip to Rhaeadr Fawr. Having rounded the corner at the end of the path, this was the sight I was greeted with. The magnificent Aber Falls in full force. The previous days of torrential rain really showed off the power of the falls.

We crossed over the bridge and followed the path upwards to see the falls from the other side. The sunlight danced on the spray from the thundering falls creating magical snippets of rainbows. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon under piercing blue skies.

I plan to return here again and continue the path further into the mountains to find the smaller and quieter falls: Rhaeadr Fach. I may even stop off at the Aber Falls Distillery further down the river on my way back!
